চূল তার কবেকার শ্রাবস্তীর কারুকাজ
কবে কোন শুভ লগ্নে এসেছিলে বঙ্গ নারী
কাজল কালো দীঘল চুলের কুঞ্জ বনে
বিনোদ বেণীর খোপা বাঁধিয়া তিলোত্তমা রুপে
স্বর্গ পেরিয়ে ভূবনে ভূবনে
হরণ করেছিলে সব সুন্দর প্রচন্ড আবেগ
আার ভালোবাসার নির্যাস গোপনে গোপনে ।।
যদিত্ত তোমার কালোকেশের বাগানে চলছে এখন
আধুনিকতার ক্ষয়িষ্ণু ঝড়
দ্বীঘল কালো কুঞ্জ বনে লেগেছে খরা
রঙ ঝলমলে পারলারে ক্ষুদ্র থেকে ক্ষুদ্রতর হচ্ছে এলোকেশ !
হে বংগ নারী আবার কোরাসের সুরে পরান ভরে গাও
‘ সই ভালো করে বিনোদ বেণী বাঁধিয়া দে
বঁধু যেন বাঁধা থাকে বিনুনী ফাঁদে ।।’
আমরা সূর্যের বুক ছিঁড়ে ছুটে চলি দুরন্ত অশেষ
আমরা অমর অজেয় বাঙ্গালী – আমরাই বাংলাদেশ ।।
