যদি রাত পোহালে শুনা যেত বঙ্গবন্ধু মরেনি
তবে বিশ্ব পেত এক মহান নেতা
আমরা পেতাম জাতির পিতা ……………!!!

the assassination of Bangobondhu Seikh Mujib : the mirror of bangladesh : বংগবন্ধু শেখমুজিব : বিম্ব – প্রতিবিম্ব বাংলাদেশ ..
The assassination of the country’s architect and father of the nation, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, took place on August 15, 1975, when a group of junior Army officers invaded Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s House in Dhanmandi in the early hours. Sheikh Mujib and almost his entire family were slaughtered including his wife and sons. Groups of soldiers than broke into squads and traveled around the city, killing relatives of Sheikh Mujib.
The killing was a part of a long- running conspiracy of the anti-liberation forces. At the time of his assassination, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was serving as the President of Bangladesh. Sheikh Mujib and Bangladesh were two interrelated names. Killing Mujib meant killing a portion of Bangladesh.
The coup of 15 August 1975 was organized by miss guided junior officers of Bangladesh Army. They were led by Major Syed Faruqe Rahman and Major Rashid. The coup resulted in the assassination of the country’s president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, of the Awami League; his family except for daughters Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana, who were in Germany; and several ministers and party leaders.
The portraitures of the great leader and father of the nation Bango Bandhu Sekh Mujibur Rahman are seen infront of his Dhan Mondi house which is now recognized as the Bango Bandhu museum through the window of symbolic black and red colour on the day of national mourning 15 August 2013 and 2019
