#ঢাকা বীর বাঙ্গালীর সার্বজনীন বীরত্ব গাঁথা , ঐতিহ্য , সাংস্কৃতি , উত্তরাধিকার , জীব বৈচিত্র তথা বৈচিত্রময় জীবন ধারার গর্বিত ইতিহাসের এক অনবদ্য – অবারিত গ্রন্থাগার !

এ ছাড়াও ঢাকার হৃৎ মাঝারে কালের স্বাক্ষী হয়ে প্রবাহিত চির বহতা নদী বুড়িগঙ্গা –যদিও মানুষের দেয়া কষ্টের কষাঘাতে বুড়িগঙ্গা এখন নিবিড় পর্যবেক্ষণে মুমুর্ষ বিছানায় শায়িত !

১৬০৮ সালে মোঘল শাসকদের হাত ধরে গড়ে উঠা ঢাকা অনেক ভাঙ্গা – গড়ার দুর্গম গিরি পথ বেয়ে এখন সামনে এগিয়ে চলা বাংলাদেশের বর্নাঢ্যময় রাজধানী শহর – যদিও অপরিকল্পিত আধুনিক নগরায়ন আর সভ্যতার নামে ঢাকা দ্রুত হারাচ্ছে গর্বিত অতীতের বৈচিত্রময় শেকড়ের ঠিকানা ! বহুমুখী দুষণ , অতি যানবাহনের নিষ্পেষন এবং জন বিস্পোরণে নিমজ্জিত ঢাকা এখন ভীষন ক্লান্ত এবং বিশ্বের আবাস অযোগ্য শহরের তালিকার শীর্ষে অবস্থান করে লজ্জিত !

তবুও সব কিছু ছাড়িয়ে ঢাকা বাংগালীর কর্মচঞ্চল জীবনের প্রাণ স্পন্দন ; প্রগতিশীল আগামীর পথে হাঁটা আবাহন । তাই স্বপ্নের এই শহরটিকে নিয়ে আশাহত হওয়ার নেই কোন অবকাশ – নেই কোন ভয় লেশ !

সুতরাং শুরু হউক আবার স্বপ্ন বোনার বহুমুখী পালা । তবেই জমবে আবার প্রগতির শহর ঢাকায় পুরনো – নতুনের সেতু বন্ধনে প্রানের মেলা। সে মেলার আলো ঝলমল রঙমঞ্চে মনের আনন্দে নৃত্য করবে আমার সুদ্বীর্ঘ পথ চলার সফল চিত্রায়ন ঢাকার আলোকচিত্র মালা । আর আলোকচিত্রের সার্বজনীন ভাষার পটে মঞ্চস্থ হতে থাকবে বিশাল ক্যানভাসে আমার চলমান আলোকচিত্র গল্পে ঢাকা পাঁচশত বছর নামে অমর উপস্থাপনা ……………।।

Save the Dhaka – Save the Bangladesh

Dhaka the name of a city – the annals by conserving the eternal history and story of glorious past of heroic Bangalees’ struggle , independence, heritages , tradition , culture , life style and biodiversity . beside this the historically very significant river Buriganga flows in the heart of Dhaka with it’s potentiality and beauty though the river is now running on endangered situation in death ill bed !

By passing the long way of ups and down the Dhaka is now the splendid and very potential capital city of progressive and developing Bangladesh which built in 1608 by Mughal rulers . on the other hand by pressuring of over population , over transportation , unplanned urbanization and severe environmental pollution ; Dhaka is treated as one of the most worst city for living in world ranking !

After all this things the historical city Dhaka is the hope of Bangladesh with potential diversity in different way . so our dream to build a calm , quiet , well planning , environment friendly and peaceful new dhaka for coming generation by saving it’s glorious past and the river buriganga also .
